Smith's Rapid Edge Sharpening is pleased to be a Registered Provider of continuing education for the Renewal of Texas Cosmetology License

As of September 1,2008 only six hours of continuing education is  required to renew Texas Cosmetology License. Of that six hours two must be in sanitation and two in rules and regulations other than sanitation.  Instructors are required to have two hours of  teaching methods  in addition  to the above. Those individuals who are sixty-five or older with fourteen years experience, need only two hours of sanitation for license renewal.  Those licensees who are not working can renew as inactive without the continuing education.

The Texas Cosmetology Commission is now a part of Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations ..  We are registered with TDLR (provider #1155) http://www.license.state.tx.us to provide  classes, until June of  2010.  This is the fifth year we have been registered to teach CCE classes.
